What is Millburn USY?
USY stands for United Synagogue Youth. USY is a Jewish youth group for 9th-12th graders. It's an amazing and fun way to hang out with your friends. We have really great and fantastically fun events - and most are free! We hold chapter events about twice a month. Chapter events are typically held at Congregation B'nai Israel.
Our region, Hagalil, also hosts regional events. Hagalil allows you to meet Jewish teens from all over northern New Jersey. There are frequent dances and several awesome conventions including a week-long encampment at the end of summer.
On the international level, USY offers programs in the summer such as USY on Wheels and Israel Pilgrimage. In addition, International USY has a week-long convention every December in a different location around the country. This year, International Convention is in Philadelphia.
